Ne·gro·ism   [nee-groh-iz-uhm]
noun ( sometimes lowercase )
1.
the doctrine or advocacy of equal rights for blacks.
2.
a quality or manner, as a speech pattern or pronunciation, considered characteristic of blacks.

Why did the 911 operator ask Charles Ramsey the ethnicity of the girls he saved? Is that even necessary, couldn’t that have waited? If they were black or hispanic would the cops/ambulance have been like “Oh we can take our sweet time”.

whatiscapitalism:

An important phrase to describe when someone tries to shut you up or insult you on the basis of how “powerful” your demographic is.

And yes, privilege shaming is bad. Analyze the argument, not the skin color of the person you disagree with. Analyze the individual’s experiences, not the experiences of millions of people they’ve never even met.

Privilege shaming.

It’s just another form of bigotry.
